According to the organizers of the competition, this will be the fifth meeting between the athletes, and their rivalry is currently tied at 2:2.
The last match between them took place at the 2023 World Championship, where the Japanese athlete emerged victorious.
It is worth noting that Yuki Kagami won gold at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Aiperi Medet kyzy finished in 5th place at the same Olympics, and then went on to win the Asian Championship and the Islamic Games, as well as becoming a silver medalist at the World Championship.
