At the recent ranking tournament in Albania, Kyrgyz athletes Aiperi Medet kyzy and Nurzat Nurtayeva successfully reached the finals, as reported by United World Wrestling (UWW).
Aiperi Medet kyzy, competing in the weight category up to 76 kilograms, achieved victories over wrestlers from Turkey, Bulgaria, and Kazakhstan with an impressive overall score of 35:2.
In the decisive match, she will face a representative from Ecuador.
Nurzat Nurtayeva also demonstrated excellent results, winning in the category up to 72 kilograms against athletes from Poland, India, and Bulgaria.
In the final, she will compete against an opponent from Kazakhstan.
