Nurzat Shabdanbaeva, living in the village of Shapak in the Issyk-Kul region, works as a teacher at the secondary school named after J. Murzakmatov. She successfully balances her professional career, family responsibilities, and participation in public life.

While teaching the Kyrgyz language and literature, Nurzat shares her plans and achievements. In 2025, she participated in the "Sanarip Mughalim" project and was able to relax in Dubai with her husband, fulfilling her dream of traveling. "Some people wonder how I can afford to take a vacation on a teacher's modest salary. In April, the salary also increases. One can be a teacher and still travel. Many perceive teachers as a vulnerable category.

Nevertheless, Nurzat believes that being a successful teacher capable of creating an educated society is a modern obligation. She actively participates in the life of her region and was a delegate at the IV Kurultai, where she highlighted important issues. "People often ask how I manage to combine work, household chores, and public activities. My husband supports me — this is very important. I am glad that I love my profession and that there is someone by my side who cares for our family," Nurzat shares.

The teacher emphasizes that her choice of profession was made consciously, and from an early age, she set high goals for herself. "I was born in the village of Mayak in the Tyup district. In 2009, after graduating from school, I enrolled in the budget department of the Faculty of Philology at the Issyk-Kul State University. Our group had very capable students, and we actively engaged in studies and public activities," Nurzat recounts, noting that it was then that she developed the ability to keep up with everything.

According to Nurzat Shabdanbaeva, she continues to grow and learn. "After university, I worked at Lyceum No. 12 in Bishkek, then at professional development courses for teachers. Later, I returned to Shapak and took the position of deputy director for educational work. My experience over 12 years has shown that a teacher must constantly develop. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in psychology, as it is important not only to impart knowledge but also to understand children and help them become prepared for life in society," she says.

For her achievements in the field of education, Nurzat Shabdanbaeva has been awarded several certificates of honor from local authorities. She is currently raising three children.
