Junior Sergeant Syimyk Zhanibek uulu, representing the Army Sports Club of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, took first place at the international tournament of traditional sports martial arts AMMA, which took place in the Chinese city of Luzhou. In the competition, which involved more than 400 athletes from 15 countries, he competed in the weight category up to 77 kg.
As a result of the tournament, the junior sergeant received a ticket to the Summer Asian Games, which will be held in 2026 in Nagoya, Japan.
