Issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation discussed


The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkey, Ruslan Kazakbaev, held a meeting with Abdullah Güler, a deputy and leader of the Justice and Development Party faction in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Also present at the meeting was Yusuf Beyazit, a deputy and head of the inter-parliamentary friendship group "Turkey–Kyrgyzstan".

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting, Ruslan Kazakbaev provided a detailed report on political and economic reforms in Kyrgyzstan, as well as summarized the recent parliamentary elections.

The discussion covered issues related to the development of cooperation between parliaments and parties, as well as opportunities for strengthening trade and economic relations and cultural-humanitarian ties between the two countries.

In addition, the conversation addressed the planning of mutual high-level visits and the interaction between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey within the framework of multilateral organizations, such as the Organization of Turkic States. The Kyrgyz side emphasized the need for the prompt entry into force of previously signed agreements.
