
The ambassador emphasized that such visits have become a regular practice, and work is currently underway on their substantive aspects. “We are confident that Putin's visit to Kazakhstan will become one of the most memorable pages in the history of our relations,” Borodavkin added in an interview with TASS.
Additionally, at the end of May 2026, a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (EAEU) will take place in Astana, which will be attended by heads of state, including Vladimir Putin.
It is worth noting that the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, visited Moscow on November 11 and 12. The last time Vladimir Putin was in Kazakhstan was in November 2024 for the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit.
