
During the conversation, the presidents discussed the current situation and future development of multilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Russia. They noted that previously reached agreements continue to be implemented and positively assessed the efforts to deepen cultural and humanitarian interaction. The significance of joint initiatives in the field of science and education was also emphasized.
“Tokayev once again invited Putin to visit Kazakhstan on an official visit. The conversation also touched upon issues of the international and regional agenda,” the statement said.
It is worth noting that Tokayev was in Russia in November 2025, while Putin visited Kazakhstan in November 2023.
