The Hong Kong Consumer Council conducted a study and found elevated levels of allergens in some luxury perfumes, including fragrances from Gucci and Bvlgari. This was reported by the Kazinform agency, citing data from SCMP.

As part of the inspection, 40 different perfume products were tested. As a result, three of them were found to contain ten types of allergens that could worsen skin conditions in people suffering from eczema and other dermatological diseases.

The most expensive among the tested perfumes was Gucci - The Alchemist's Garden Tears from the Moon Eau de Parfum, priced at 2850 Hong Kong dollars (approximately $365) for a 100 ml bottle.
Also, the Allegra Passeggiata fragrance from Bvlgari Parfums was found to contain ten potentially allergenic components, with a price of 2260 Hong Kong dollars. The list also included Colonia Eau de Cologne from Acqua di Parma, which costs 997 Hong Kong dollars.

It should be noted that the presence of allergens does not always pose a danger to all consumers. However, people with sensitive skin and chronic issues are advised to carefully review the product ingredients before purchasing.
