The event, organized in cooperation with the Small and Medium Enterprises Support Center and the Department of Culture and Arts under the Governor's Office of the capital, took place in the shopping centers "Ikh Nayaad" and "Soyolzh Mall." About 1,000 entrepreneurs from nine districts and 21 aimags participated, presenting 55,000 products for sale at factory prices, without any fees for trading spaces.
Undarmaa Dashdaraa, head of the Small and Medium Enterprises and Services Support Center of Ulaanbaatar, noted that the current results slightly exceed last year's (₮52.4 billion) and emphasized the importance of this program for supporting local producers and stabilizing income in the country's economy. In the future, district authorities plan to continue this initiative by holding themed fairs as part of promotional campaigns for the capital.
According to the organizers' statement, the exhibition combined not only sales but also cultural events and initiatives to attract investments. They plan to repeat the fair next year with the same support for small and growing businesses.
