In Kazakhstan, seven people died in a gas explosion at a cafe

As a result of the incident, 26 people were injured, among whom seven died. Thirteen of the injured were hospitalized, while six received outpatient treatment.

According to the latest data from the regional Emergency Situations Department, five of the injured were transferred to Kokshetau for hospitalization in the regional multidisciplinary hospital, and two more are awaiting transportation.

An operational headquarters is functioning at the site of the incident. The causes of the explosion are currently being investigated. The Akmolinsk region akimat confirmed its readiness to assist the families of both the deceased and the injured.
