Closer to Iran. A B-52 bomber from the USA has arrived in the UK.

A B-52 Stratofortress strategic bomber was spotted at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire. Footage of its landing became available on March 9.

The appearance of the B-52 comes against the backdrop of escalating tensions in the conflict with Iran and an increased presence of American military forces in the region. Previously, B-1B bombers of the U.S. Air Force were also recorded at this base.

According to Sky News, this bomber was sent to the UK after receiving permission from London to use British military bases for operations that British authorities describe as defensive.

In light of these events, U.S. President Donald Trump earlier criticized the UK regarding its stance on the use of its bases for operations against Iran.
