
Shekarchi noted: “If the U.S., which acts aggressively, decides to attack the island and the oil facilities located there, we will respond immediately by attacking all oil and gas installations of the country from which the strike is launched. We have already proven our determination in such situations and will not impose any restrictions on our actions. No nation should become a springboard for U.S. aggression against Hark Island.”
The neighbors of Hark Island are Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, and it is from one of these countries that a possible landing of American troops may be carried out.
Earlier, Donald Trump mentioned that the U.S. could attack the export hub on Hark Island “within five minutes.” Additionally, he claimed that the U.S. had already delivered a powerful strike on the Iranian island in the Persian Gulf. However, Iranian media report that the oil infrastructure remains untouched and the air defense systems continue to operate.
