In Russia, gasoline prices at gas stations have increased by 1.3% since the beginning of the year

During the specified period, there was a slight increase in prices, while in the previous week from January 1 to January 12, the increase was 1.18%. It is noteworthy that prior to this, for almost two consecutive months, gasoline prices showed a downward trend. In particular, from December 16 to December 22, they fell by 0.08%, by 0.09% from December 9 to December 15, by 0.18% from December 2 to December 8, as well as by 0.26% from November 25 to December 1 and by 0.22% from November 18 to November 24, and by 0.3% from November 11 to November 17.

As of January 19, gasoline prices have increased by 1.3% since the beginning of the year, while the overall inflation during this period was 1.72%.

As of January 19, the average price of a liter of gasoline across the country was 65.47 rubles (compared to 65.39 rubles on January 12). A liter of AI-92 gasoline cost 62.13 rubles (62.4 rubles previously), AI-95 - 67.58 rubles (67.5 rubles), and AI-98 - 90.64 rubles (90.45 rubles).

Regarding diesel fuel, from January 13 to January 19, its prices increased by 0.11%. In the previous period from January 1 to January 12, the increase was 1.3%, after a rise of 0.09% from December 16 to December 22, 0.22% from December 9 to December 15, 0.14% from December 2 to December 8, 0.35% from November 25 to December 1, and 0.52% from November 18 to November 24. Since the beginning of the year, diesel prices have increased by 1.41%.

As of January 19, the average cost of a liter of diesel fuel was 77.02 rubles (76.94 rubles on January 12).

In 2025, the increase in gasoline prices was 10.78%, which was almost double the overall inflation of 5.59% for the year. In 2024, prices increased by 11.13%, slightly ahead of the overall inflation for the year at 9.52%.
