The Deputy Minister also noted that this month an agreement was signed with a Russian oil refinery in Angarsk for the supply of 710 thousand tons of AI-92 gasoline. He added that the consumption of petroleum products in Mongolia is increasing by about 30% annually, and the volumes of supplies from Russia continue to remain stable. However, in January, a decision was made to increase supplies by 60%.

According to Begzsurena, as of January 5 of this year, the supply of petroleum products in Ulaanbaatar has stabilized. The agency has begun to strengthen the reserves of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline, which should amount to a 20-day supply. There are no issues with diesel fuel reserves: at the beginning of 2026, the reserves will amount to 197 thousand tons.
