
The largest price increases were observed in the following groups of goods and services:
- services for the population — by 11.2%;
- food products and non-alcoholic beverages — by 9.9%;
- alcoholic products and tobacco — by 8%;
- non-food goods — by 7.8%.
Price Changes for Products in 2025
The leaders in price growth were fresh fruits, which increased by 42.6%.
Prices for fresh fish (25.1%), vegetable oils (18.4%), fresh meat (14.6%), including horse meat (20.6%), lamb (18.6%), and beef (14.1%) also rose significantly.
Other products that became more expensive include butter (8.9%), non-alcoholic beverages (6.5%), dairy products (5.5%), bread (5.3%), baked goods (5%), and flour (4.9%). Notably, sugar's price increased by 0.3%.
On the other hand, chicken eggs and medium-grain rice became cheaper by 3.6% and 3.2%, respectively.
Price Dynamics in December
In December 2025, compared to November, the overall increase in prices and tariffs was 1%.

In December, potatoes rose in price by 8.6%, chicken eggs by 7.3%, bulk milk by 7%, fresh fish by 4.8%, long-grain rice by 3.2%, as well as fresh vegetables and pasta by 2.8% and vegetable oils by 0.9%.
It is worth noting that in December, the National Statistical Committee did not record any goods that became cheaper, which has happened for the third consecutive time.

Regional Price Changes
Prices and tariffs for products and services increased in all regions of the country, according to the National Statistical Committee.
The highest increase (11.6%) was recorded in Osh, where prices for non-food goods rose (by 12%) and tariffs for services for the population (by 13.5%).
Chuy region noted the most significant increase in prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages (by 13.1%), while Issyk-Kul region saw an increase in prices for alcoholic and tobacco products (by 14.4%).
Consumer prices and tariffs in December 2025 increased in all regions of the country, with the highest growth in Jalal-Abad region — 2.1%.
Price Monitoring of the Food Basket by 24.kg
24.kg continues to monitor the cost of the minimum food set. This week, the price of the food basket decreased by 1 som and amounted to 6722 soms.
In Bishkek, over the week, the prices of meat, rice, tomatoes, onions, carrots, cabbage, and pears increased, while bread, cucumbers, peppers, apples, sugar, milk, and eggs became cheaper.

24.kg analyzes prices for the same set of products in one supermarket weekly. Prices in stores and markets may vary, and supermarkets often have promotions.
The analysis shows that since the beginning of our monitoring in late October 2018, the cost of the food basket has increased by 3452 soms. Since 2026, it has decreased by 1 som, but compared to the same period in 2025, it has increased by 710 soms.
Salary Dynamics in Kyrgyzstan
According to the National Statistical Committee, from January to November 2025, the average nominal salary in enterprises and organizations of all types of economic activity increased by 19.1% compared to the same period in 2024.
Currently, it stands at 42,954 soms.

The number of officially registered unemployed in Kyrgyzstan at the end of 2025 was 38,200 people, which is 24.9% less than in 2024.
