- In recent years, catering services in Kyrgyzstan have taken a prominent place in the food service sector. These companies cater to a wide range of events, including business meetings, corporate events, and private celebrations — from simple coffee breaks to comprehensive "turnkey" event support.
Studying open menus and price lists allows us to identify the main price categories and understand how the cost of services is formed. Typically, companies offer package solutions priced per participant or create menus based on individual items and weight, depending on the format of the event.

Coffee breaks remain the most accessible option. The basic "tea-coffee service" package costs on average 150–250 soms per person and includes tea, coffee, sugar, milk, lemon, tableware, and service. Additional items, such as pastries, desserts, and mini-snacks, are charged separately: their cost starts from 40–60 soms and can reach 200–250 soms for more complex products. As a result, the total cost of a coffee break depends on the selected items.

As for corporate lunches, they are most often offered in the form of fixed sets: the cost of a complete lunch is approximately 900 soms and includes a salad, main dish, side dish, bread, and basic tea-coffee service. Some items, such as soups or fish, may incur additional charges, allowing for flexible budget management.

The price range in the buffet and banquet segment is significantly wider. The menu includes snacks, canapés, tartlets, mini-burgers, as well as meat and fish dishes, priced by weight. The cost of one item at a buffet ranges from 40–90 soms to 300 soms and above, while sets and assortments can cost from several hundred to several thousand soms.

Catering companies in Kyrgyzstan use a flexible pricing model: the final cost depends on the format of the event, the number of guests, the menu composition, and the level of service, which allows them to offer services in various price segments — from basic to premium.

With increasing demand, interest in the market structure is growing: who are the key players, how their activity changes, and what volumes of tax contributions are formed in this segment. Tax payments remain one of the few public indicators that allow for an assessment of the scale of companies' activities.

This material presents data on catering companies (legal entities) in Kyrgyzstan, collected based on information from the Ministry of Justice and data from the Tax Service regarding tax contributions for 2024–2025.
