According to information from The Wall Street Journal, the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier is being sent to the region, along with F-15E Strike Eagle bombers. Additionally, there are plans to deploy extra air and missile defense systems, including Patriot and THAAD.
According to The Jerusalem Post, the Abraham Lincoln carrier is accompanied by the destroyers USS Spruance and USS Michael Murphy.
