The conditions for providing medical assistance are as follows:
- for children under 6 years old: In accordance with the State Guarantees Program, such children are exempt from co-payment. Treatment, laboratory and diagnostic studies, and medications from the List of Essential Medicines are provided free of charge.
- for children aged 6 to 18 years: This group is subject to a medium-level co-payment, the amount of which depends on the department profile (therapeutic or surgical) and the level of the medical institution.
The procedure for planned hospitalization includes:
1. The presence of a referral from a pediatrician or family doctor at the place of registration.
2. Presentation of the child's birth certificate.
If there is no referral, planned treatment is paid at the maximum co-payment rate at the medical institution's cash desk. In the case of emergency hospitalization, which is carried out through the ambulance service, a referral is not required, and assistance is provided immediately.
