During an inspection conducted by the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Damirbek Osmonov, the operation of the electronic database of medicines and medical devices (EBD) in the regions of Osh and Jalal-Abad was checked.
The Minister also paid attention to the drug traceability module.
During the inspection at the pharmacy point of LLC "Neman-Pharm," located on the territory of the Jalal-Abad Regional Clinical Hospital, medications that were not accounted for in the electronic system were discovered. Authorized specialists drew up a corresponding act regarding this fact.
Osmonov noted that mandatory registration and digital traceability of pharmaceuticals should apply to all participants in pharmaceutical activities, regardless of their ownership form.
“Every drug in circulation in the country must be recorded in the electronic traceability system. This is an important condition for ensuring the transparency of the pharmaceutical market, compliance with legislation, and protecting patients' rights,” the Minister emphasized.
