A Third of All Taxes. VAT Revenues to the Budget Increased in Kyrgyzstan

According to the Ministry of Finance, in 2025, Kyrgyzstan received 164 billion soms from VAT. This was made possible due to the increase in the collection of taxes on goods and services produced in the country, which amounted to 43.8 billion soms.

The amount of VAT from goods imported from EAEU countries reached 49.4 billion soms, while imports from third countries contributed 67.5 billion soms. Additionally, the tax on electronic services from foreign companies amounted to 1.2 billion soms, and the VAT withheld by the tax agent was 1.9 billion soms.

Compared to the figures for 2024, when VAT revenues amounted to 151.9 billion soms, the growth was 7.9%.
