This forum, organized with the support of the country's government, is expected to become an important platform for exchanging views between businessmen and government structures of Central Asia and the United States. The main objective of the event is to promote the strengthening of economic cooperation in the region and to develop interaction between the public and private sectors.
Among the priority topics of the forum will be: agriculture, the financial sector, critical mineral resources, e-commerce and IT, transport and logistics services, as well as tourism.The press service also reminded that the first "B5+1" forum took place in Almaty in March 2024 and gathered over 250 participants from ten countries.
The "B5+1" forum is the business equivalent of the diplomatic platform "C5+1", which unites five Central Asian states: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, along with the United States of America.
