The business forum 'B5+1' has started in Bishkek.
The opening of the forum "B5+1" took place in Bishkek and gathered participants from the governments of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and the United States of America. This event is organized by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) in collaboration with the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and marks the transition of the "B5+1" format to long-term processes of regional economic integration rather than one-off meetings.

High-profile delegates from various countries, as well as leaders of international companies, financial institutions, and business associations, are present at the forum. The main objective of the meeting is to strengthen the dialogue between the public and private sectors and to expand investment cooperation. The discussions focus on issues related to improving the business environment in key sectors such as transportation and logistics, agriculture, information technology, e-commerce, and the extraction of critical minerals.

The forum includes panel sessions where regional working groups will propose practical recommendations for reforming regulatory policies. It is expected that representatives of the governments will present specific steps for implementing the proposed initiatives aimed at stimulating innovation and economic growth. The "B5+1" platform serves as a business counterpart to the diplomatic format "C5+1" and is implemented as part of the "Improving the Business Environment in Central Asia" (IBECA) program with the support of the U.S. Department of State.
