Chinese direct investments in the Eurasian region are growing on average by 10-11% per year

According to information published by the EDB, foreign direct investment from China in the Eurasian region shows an average annual growth of 10-11% (2026).

The total volume of accumulated Chinese investments in this region increased from $37.3 billion in 2016 to $66.1 billion by the end of the first half of 2025, representing a 77% increase.

At the same time, starting from 2023, there has been a growth of 13% (from $58.7 billion), despite the ongoing global decline in investment activity.
