The Ministry of Energy has shared plans for modernization in the Naryn region.
In 2026, as part of the reforms being carried out by the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, 21 transformers will be replaced in the Naryn region, and 6 new units of equipment will be installed.
The transformers are planned to be replaced in the following districts: Ak-Talinsky (1), At-Bashinsky (3), Kochkorsky (7), Naryn (7), and Toguz-Toroisky (3). Additionally, new transformers will be installed in At-Bashinsky (1), Jumgal (2), and Naryn (3) districts.
As part of the capital and current repairs, work will also be carried out with 2,015 transformers.
Representatives of the Ministry of Energy noted that in 2025, the Naryn Electric Networks Enterprise successfully replaced and installed 83 transformers, which led to an increase in the total electrical capacity of the region by 39,217 kVA.
