In Kyrgyzstan, a process has been initiated to discuss changes to the standard tax deductions contained in the Tax Code. This was reported by Chinara Mamyrbaeva, head of the declaration and non-tax payments department of the State Tax Service, on the air of "Birinchi Radio".

She emphasized the need to update and expand social and property benefits for taxpayers. "The current amounts of 650 soms per person and 100 soms per dependent have become morally outdated," Mamyrbaeva noted.

Additionally, she pointed out that many citizens are unaware of the existing social and property deductions. Authorities are also considering the possibility of expanding the list of "targeted" deductions.
