According to information from the agency, the initiator of this project was Russia, which invested about 5 million dollars in the first phase of its implementation.
“Previously, there were no such modern enterprises in Kyrgyzstan's aviation sector. This project demonstrates that it is possible to create modern aviation training and service centers in our country,” said Ravshanbek Sabirov.
He also noted that this initiative contributes to attracting investments, creating new jobs, and strengthening the technological base. Currently, 15 Kyrgyz pilots are being trained in Russia, who will begin working in the structures of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Defense, and other institutions after completing their studies. The agency is ready to support the project, including providing customs preferences.
In the future, it is planned to open a training and simulation complex, which will be equipped with simulators for the Mi-171 helicopter and classrooms for training civil aviation pilots, Ministry of Emergency Situations staff, Ministry of Defense personnel, and cadets of the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute.
