In Kyrgyzstan, including the capital Bishkek, local producer, farmer, and artisan fairs offering socially significant products will be organized from now until June 2026. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
The Ministry emphasized that there is no shortage of essential products in the country, and reserves remain at a sufficient level. The goal of the fairs is to ensure the stable functioning of the domestic market and to offer the population quality goods at affordable prices.
Every weekend in Bishkek, fairs are held in collaboration with the city administration, where residents can purchase products below market prices.
The main objectives of these events include curbing price increases, ensuring food for socially vulnerable groups, supporting local producers, and maintaining market stability.
In the capital, the fairs will take place at T. Usubaliev Square, at the intersection of I. Razzakov and Abdymomunov Streets, as well as on Erkindik Boulevard in the Pervomaisky District.
Participants in the fairs must meet certain requirements: their products must comply with sanitary and hygienic standards, prices must be lower than market prices, and a confirming letter from the district agricultural administration must be provided.
