The head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, signed an update to the resolution dated May 28, 2025, No. 282, concerning the preparation of the economy for the autumn-winter season of 2025/2026. As a result, preferential tariffs for railway transportation of coal for the Bishkek thermal power plant were established.

According to the amendments made, the mechanism for tariff regulation for coal transportation directed to the capital's thermal power plant has changed.

The ministries of economy and commerce, as well as transport and communications, were instructed to set a maximum rate for coal transportation for the thermal power plant at 50 soms per ton per kilometer. This applies to routes starting from the stations "Rybachye," "Tokmok," "Kant," and "Alamedin."

Furthermore, from December 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, a coefficient of 0.75 will apply to existing tariffs when coal is transported along the route from the station "Rybachye" to the stations "Shopokov," "Belovodskoye," and "Kara-Balta" to the Bishkek thermal power plant, including all surcharges and fees.
