The main goal of this event was to preliminarily discuss the upcoming Meeting of Ministers and Heads of Relevant Agencies of the SCO countries. Participants met to agree on the agenda, the format of the meeting, and to resolve key organizational issues.
Special attention was paid to coordinating efforts in the field of phytosanitary safety at the regional level. Representatives of the countries noted that establishing direct links between quarantine services significantly improves the exchange of experience and the prompt response to emerging threats.
Such meetings in the SCO format serve as a strategic tool for strengthening regional cooperation. They not only simplify interaction between various agencies but also contribute to the development of unified approaches to plant protection, which plays an important role in ensuring the stability of the agricultural sector of partner countries.
