It is worth noting that the large-scale implementation of such schemes is impossible without the involvement of certain officials from regulatory bodies, including tax services. This led to more than 50 employees of the tax service being dismissed for violations in 2025.
To combat such offenses, the State Tax Service is implementing modern digital technologies, including:
- electronic analytics;
- automated control systems;
- risk-oriented approaches;
- modern information platforms and data analysis algorithms.
As part of the fight against the shadow economy, the tax service plans to annul fictitious electronic invoices and unjustified tax credit amounts, while responsibility will be placed on those who benefit from such schemes.
Taxpayers who formally acquired "services" and "goods" without real economic activity are advised to submit amended tax reports. Otherwise, tax authorities will conduct inspections in accordance with the procedures established by law.
