Bakyt Torobaev, who holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, visited the 'Agrokush' branch in the Kemin district. During the visit, he familiarized himself with the implementation of the investment project 'Kemin', which aims to develop broiler production in the country.
This project represents the second stage of expanding the production capacities of the company in the Chui region. This year, the construction of two new sites for poultry keeping is planned. Each site will include 12 poultry houses, capable of accommodating up to 20,000 broilers.
In parallel, a feed mill is being constructed, which will produce 30 tons of feed per hour. This will not only meet the needs of 'Agrokush' but also supply feed to other poultry enterprises in the region. The project also includes the creation of a new incubator with a capacity of over 10 million chicks per year and a warehouse for storing 3,300 tons of frozen meat.
After the new complex is put into operation, the company's production capacity will increase by 29%, allowing for an annual production volume of about 15,000 tons of poultry meat. The output of compound feeds will grow from 28,000 to 115,000 tons.
The implementation of this project will have a positive impact on local crop production: 'Agrokush' plans to purchase more than 78,000 tons of corn and wheat from farmers annually. This will create a stable market for agrarians and new jobs in the region. The poultry cluster 'Agrokush' forms a complete production cycle 'from field to finished product', significantly enhancing food security in the republic.
