
The prospects of the mining industry were discussed
On February 2, as part of the B5+1 business forum, numerous meetings took place between OJSC "Kyrgyzaltyn" and representatives of major American companies. The negotiations were led by the Chairman of the Board, Kubat Abdrayimov.
During the visit, the Kyrgyzaltyn team communicated with representatives from companies such as Pangea Global, Mooney Group, and TETHYS Gateway Investment, as well as representatives from Nasdaq.
The main topic of discussion was the prospects related to the development of the mining industry, the implementation of innovative technologies, and issues related to improving domestic production in accordance with international standards, including the requirements of the European Union. Participants also focused on laboratory research, technological progress, and training personnel for the mining industry.
Additionally, the meetings addressed the creation of a sustainable industrial ecosystem and increasing the volume of investment cooperation.
As a result of the meetings, OJSC "Kyrgyzaltyn" and the companies Pangea Global, Mooney Group, and TETHYS Gateway Investment signed memorandums of understanding aimed at deepening cooperation.
It should be noted that Pangea Global is an American company engaged in the development of energy solutions and the implementation of scalable geological and hydrological technologies focused on energy transformation and the extraction of rare earth elements in Eurasia.
Mooney Group is an investment consulting company that focuses on critical minerals and strategic metals, emphasizing vertical integration in the mining, oil refining, and processing industries.
TETHYS Gateway Investment is a strategic investment platform from Luxembourg, focused on private equity, engaged in projects related to critical minerals, infrastructure, and energy in Turkey and Central Asia, as well as within the logistics of the "Middle Corridor."
