The project proposes amendments to several legislative acts, including the Civil and Tax Codes. Additionally, it is planned to rename the existing law "On Peasant (Farm) Economy" to "On Dykank and Family Farm Economy".
One of the main innovations is the introduction of two forms of farming:
- Dykank economy — an independent entity with legal status, created based on the labor of two or more families jointly producing agricultural products on land and property owned, used, or rented by them.
- Family farm economy — an entity with the status of an individual, based on the labor of one family, engaged in agricultural production on a land share or rented plot, as well as on household land.
Additionally, the project states that a family farm engaged in agricultural production must register as an individual. Each member of such a farm has the right to exit with a land share and create a separate family farm or join a peasant farm.
If the law is adopted, it will come into force 10 days after official publication, and the Cabinet of Ministers will be tasked with aligning its decisions with the new legislation.
