Deputy Chairman of the National Bank Azat Kozubekov presented a detailed report on monetary policy to the meeting participants. In his speech, he analyzed both internal and external factors influencing the consumer price index, as well as voiced forecasts for inflation expectations in the near future. The message emphasizes that coordinated action between fiscal and monetary measures is necessary to maintain price stability.
Amangeldiev noted that with a growing economy, the Cabinet must focus on maintaining the purchasing power of citizens.
"Economic growth must be combined with strict control over inflationary processes. We must minimize the impact of external shocks on the domestic market, especially regarding essential goods," emphasized the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet.
Following the discussion, Amangeldiev instructed the relevant government agencies to promptly develop measures to ensure price stability, paying special attention to food security and saturating the domestic market with local goods.
