In 2025, Kyrgyzstan Increased Import of Slag Wool for Insulation

According to data from the National Statistical Committee, in 2025, Kyrgyzstan significantly increased the volume of imported slag wool used for insulation.

From January to December 2025, the republic purchased 29,000 tons of slag wool worth 20 million US dollars. This is 58% more compared to 2024, when 18,400 tons were imported for 11 million dollars.
