Since the beginning of 2026, 319 thousand tons of grain have been exported from the Altai Krai of Russia to several countries, including Kyrgyzstan.

- From January 1 to February 28, 2026, specialists from the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for Altai Krai and the Republic of Altai inspected 537 thousand tons of plant-based products, among which 319 thousand tons consist of grain, processed products, and other quarantine goods intended for export from the region.

This year, the largest quantities included: wheat — 137 thousand tons, soybeans — 50 thousand tons, buckwheat — 24 thousand tons, barley — 23 thousand tons, as well as peas, lentils, oats, and other crops.

Products from Altai Krai were sent to 29 countries around the world. The main importers of Altai grain in 2026 include Kazakhstan (163 thousand tons), China (69 thousand tons), and Kyrgyzstan (27 thousand tons).

All exported products underwent phytosanitary control and comply with the standards of the importing countries.
