The Cabinet of Ministers has decided on the procedure for the sale of precious metals to domestic jewelers. This information was disseminated by the government press service.
Now jewelers will be able to purchase metals and stones that were bought by the state at a 2% discount from the world prices set by the London Bullion Market Association.
This decision is aimed at supporting local producers and developing the jewelry industry. Buying points and pawnshops will be able to sell precious metal products and scrap to government bodies authorized to provide jewelers with the necessary raw materials according to established rules.
