During his working visit to Italy, the Chairman of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, Almambet Shykmamatov, attended the jewelry exhibition 'Vicenzaoro' taking place in Vicenza.
During the event, Almambet Shykmamatov familiarized himself with current trends in the jewelry sector, as well as new materials and technologies used in this field. He also held working meetings with representatives of major Italian jewelry companies.
In particular, he met with Eleonora Rizzuto, who holds the position of Director of Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility at the Bvlgari group and LVMH brands, as reported by the State Tax Service.
At the meeting, the Chairman of the State Tax Service spoke about the current realities of the jewelry industry in Kyrgyzstan, ongoing reform initiatives, and state support measures aimed at developing production in this sector.
Special attention in the discussion was given to the potential of Kyrgyzstan in the processing of precious stones and metals, as well as opportunities for attracting investments and cooperation with international brands.
The parties agreed to prepare Kyrgyz jewelers at the Bvlgari base.
There was also a meeting with Massimo Polero, the president of the association of manufacturers and exporters of jewelry equipment, where issues of mutual cooperation in the jewelry industry were discussed.
Almambet Shykmamatov proposed options for joint actions, including the possibility of acquiring equipment from the company AFEMO to organize a full production cycle of jewelry in Kyrgyzstan.
Additionally, meetings were held with Trevi Group S.r.l. and Damiani Group, where modern technologies and equipment used in the jewelry industry were discussed, including solutions for laboratory analysis of precious metals and processes for manufacturing jewelry products.
The possibility of implementing advanced Italian technologies in Kyrgyzstan and their application in local jewelry enterprises and specialized laboratories was also considered.
As a result, the parties agreed on a visit by Italian jewelers to Kyrgyzstan to study the market and continue negotiations on joint projects and cooperation.
