The bill received parliamentary approval in the second reading
At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the bill on the ratification of the agreement between Kyrgyzstan and the Eurasian Development Bank was approved, aimed at the project "Improvement of Roads in the City of Osh".
As part of this project, the construction of two elevated bridges and a 3.2 km section of road in Osh is planned.
The total cost of the project will be approximately 19.3 million dollars, of which:
— about 14–14.5 million dollars is a loan from the Eurasian Development Bank;
— approximately 1.2 million dollars is grant funding;
— about 3.9 million dollars is financing from the budget of Kyrgyzstan.
The loan is provided on preferential terms for a period of 15 years, with a 5-year grace period and an annual interest rate of about 1.2%.
