On January 21, 2026, during a plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Gulsunkan Junushalieva raised the issue concerning complaints from vendors at the "Kanybek" market located in the Kochkor district of the Naryn region.

She reported that the closure of this market is planned, but no alternative trading locations for the vendors have been provided. This, according to the traders, threatens their income and the well-being of their families.

"The vendors are requesting a new place to conduct business, and only after that should the mini-market be closed," the deputy noted.

Gulsunkan Junushalieva also addressed the issue of irrigation water in the village of Cholpon in the Kochkor district. She emphasized that farmers are facing serious difficulties in irrigating their fields, and this problem has persisted since Soviet times.
