Response from the State Agency for Land Resources
Aman Kebekov, a specialist from the State Agency for Land Resources, stated in an interview with "Birinchi Radio" that the purchase of housing by foreigners does not have a significant impact on pricing in the real estate market of Kyrgyzstan.
According to him, the conducted analysis showed the actual effect of foreign citizens on the market.
Kebekov noted that there is public concern about rising prices due to the involvement of foreigners. However, he dispelled these fears: "The share of transactions with foreigners is less than 1% of the total volume," he emphasized. At the same time, the official added that foreigners have the right to purchase apartments and houses but cannot own land plots in the country.
