The IT sector of Kyrgyzstan has brought about 40 billion soms to the economy over 12 years

The information was presented at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee dedicated to the activities of the High-Tech Park.


The IT sector of Kyrgyzstan has contributed approximately 40 billion soms to the country's economy over the past 12 years. This information was announced on January 26, 2026, at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee, which discussed the work of the High-Tech Park and its impact on science, education, and innovative development.

During the discussion, it was noted that in the first three quarters of 2025, the turnover of residents of the High-Tech Park amounted to 11.4 billion soms, and according to preliminary data, by the end of the year it may reach 16 billion soms. About 3,000 specialists in the IT sector are employed within the High-Tech Park.

It was also reported that throughout the entire period of the Park's operation, the state budget received 1.1 billion soms in the form of taxes, with the highest growth in tax revenues observed from 2022 to 2025.

Representatives of the High-Tech Park's management emphasized that no funds from the republican budget were used for its establishment, and the development of the sector occurred with minimal costs from the state.
