- According to Deputy Bolot Sagyneyev, at a meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on Science, Education, Innovative Development and Information Technologies, Culture, Sports, and Youth Affairs, approximately 70,000 labor migrants have returned to Kyrgyzstan.

Sagyneyev noted that most of them left with only a secondary education, which limits their opportunities for employment in the country's government institutions.

He also added that many migrants who worked abroad in the taxi sector do not intend to work in construction upon their return.

According to the deputy, the lack of business skills has led returning migrants to actively invest their funds in real estate.

“This has resulted in a significant increase in housing prices and rising rental costs,” he emphasized.

As a solution to the problem, the deputy proposed creating an application called “Business Tunduk,” which would help migrants and investors start their own businesses, as well as provide information on investing in various sectors and gathering the necessary documentation.

Deputy Minister of Digital Development Zamirbek Kozhomuratov confirmed readiness to consider this issue.
