On January 29, 2026, the duty unit of the Kemin district police received information about a murder that occurred in the village of Bordu. This information was reported by the Main Internal Affairs Department of the Chui region.
After receiving the report of the incident, an investigative team was dispatched to the scene. During the examination of the sheepfold located in a two-room house, the body of a man named E.A., born in 1977, was found with signs of stab wounds.
A criminal case was initiated regarding this incident under Article 122, concerning murder, according to the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In the course of operational search activities, law enforcement agencies identified a suspect – P.A., born in 1968, who had a prior conviction for a similar crime. The suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation established that E.A. and P.A. worked together as shepherds in the sheepfold and on January 28, 2026, around 10:00 PM, they consumed alcohol together. A conflict that arose between them led to P.A. stabbing E.A. with a kitchen knife, resulting in the latter's death. After committing the crime, the suspect disposed of the knife by throwing it into a street toilet.
As of today, this knife has been seized as material evidence, necessary forensic examinations have been appointed, and investigative actions are ongoing.
