According to the document, the Cabinet of Ministers intends to sign an intergovernmental agreement with Uzbekistan to open an international border crossing in the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region.
The implementation of the plan includes the commencement of construction works for the creation of the border crossing, which should be completed by December 1, 2026, with funding to be provided from the republican budget (after the relevant agreement is signed).
The following organizations will be responsible for the implementation of this plan:
- State Customs Service;
- Border Service of the State Committee for National Security;
- Ministry of Transport and Communications;
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
- Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry;
- Ministry of Health;
- Authorized Representative of the President in the Osh region.
