- According to data provided by the Ministry of Finance, subsoil users have transferred 3.5 billion soms to the state budget for the improvement and maintenance of local infrastructure.

This figure has increased by almost one and a half times compared to 2024, representing a growth of 1.1 billion soms. Of the total amount, 2.8 billion soms were allocated to the republican budget, while 0.7 billion soms went to the budgets of local authorities.

Contributions for the development and maintenance of local infrastructure must be paid by both individuals and legal entities engaged in the extraction of mineral deposits, with the exception of coal, mercury, mineral and thermal waters, as well as minerals used in construction, regardless of their registration location. These organizations are required to make contributions to the development funds of the respective regions, districts, and local budgets where the deposits are located.

The contribution rate is 2% of the revenue obtained from the sale of minerals or from their cost before processing, excluding indirect taxes and transportation costs.
