The Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan reports that in 2026, JSC "Electric Stations" plans to carry out a number of key works at various energy facilities.

In the spring months, the launch of the second hydro unit at the Kambarata-2 HPP is expected, which will be part of the program for the development of the station's generating capacity. Work on this project will begin shortly.

At the same time, the reconstruction of two hydro units will begin at the Uch-Kurgan HPP. Work on hydro unit No. 2 is scheduled for February, while work on hydro unit No. 1 will start on March 1. The parallel upgrade of equipment will ensure the effective completion of all tasks.

Construction work continues at the Kambarata-1 HPP, including in the administrative and residential complex, where finishing work is being carried out. In the new dormitory, work is underway to lay water supply and sewage networks, as well as the installation of internal partitions.

At the Kurp-Sai HPP, work has also begun on the replacement of two autotransformers (AT-1 and AT-2) in the 220 kV switchgear, which will increase the station's capacity. The delivery of the first transformer is expected in January 2026, and the second in March. Installation work will begin on April 1, 2026, and will be completed by autumn.

This project will significantly improve the operational capabilities of the Kurp-Sai HPP.

In addition, a new administrative building has been constructed for the employees of JSC "Electric Stations," meeting modern standards, which has created comfortable working conditions for the staff.

In connection with the above, a phased repair of the administrative buildings of the company's branches is planned for 2026.
