At the meeting of the board dedicated to summarizing the work of the State Tax Service for 2025, the head of the agency, Alambet Shykmamatov, spoke about significant changes in the taxation system for shopping centers and markets.
As part of the ongoing reforms, the patent system has been restored, and entrepreneurs have been exempted from the mandatory use of cash register machines. The threshold for annual revenue is now set at 50 million soms, and reduced tax rates have been introduced for the jewelry sector.
Alambet Shykmamatov emphasized that these decisions were the result of dialogue with representatives of the business community, rather than mere office work.
Additionally, he mentioned that the pilot project at the "Dordoy," "Kara-Suu," and "Madina" markets, where the administrations of these markets act as tax agents, demonstrated that reducing direct contact and the human factor significantly decreases the risks of fraud and contributes to improved tax discipline.
