Sadyr Japarov commented on the dismissal of Kamchybek Tashiev

Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, who has held the position of head of the ninth service and deputy chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) since 2020, has been proposed for appointment as chairman of the GKNB, and his candidacy will be considered by the Jogorku Kenesh.

Shabdanbekov is 55 years old, born on September 22, 1970. In 2022, he was awarded the rank of Major General. His service is responsible for the protection of the country's top officials, as well as former heads of state.
