Tax Service: Cases of Concealing Revenue Found in Bishkek Cafes

The State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan conducted raids on cafes in Bishkek that use fiscal software (FS) to transmit sales data to tax authorities.

These activities are part of a pilot project aimed at implementing FS.

During the inspections at the "Kuldja HOGO" cafe chain, serious violations were recorded. In three establishments managed by the same owner, unregistered accounting systems were used, indicating the concealment of part of the sales from official reporting.

Moreover, payments were made through QR codes registered to private individuals rather than the company itself.

Cash was also found at the registers, and the absence of fiscal receipts for this cash was not confirmed.

Preliminary calculations show that since connecting to the FS, the volume of unaccounted income has reached about 12 million soms, and the amount of estimated tax liabilities is approximately 648 thousand soms.

It is worth reminding that double accounting and concealment of income contradict the law. Such actions are subject to fines and even criminal liability in case of criminal activities being identified.

The Tax Service continues its verification activities.
